Jordan Henderson helped hard fighting Liverpool to beat Chelsea 2 – 1 at the Stamford Bridge on Friday night, September 16.

The encounter which had all the pre-match razzmatazz lived up to its billing as it was filled with so much intensity, power and pace.
The Reds started-off brightly and were rewarded with a deserved goal when Lovren beat the offside trap to slot home into the far corner in the 17th minute.
Liverpool doubled their lead when Henderson scored a beauty from about 30yards out, leaving Thibaut Courtois with no chance in the 36th minute, to silence the entire Stamford Bridge. Both teams went into the break with Jurgen Klopp’s men leading 2 – 0.

Liverpool on the other hand, have won two big games this term which includes Arsenal on their opening day fixture and trounced defending champions Leicester 4-1 at Anfield last week.
