Manchester United lift Europa League trophy (photos)

Manchester United lifted the Europa League trophy after defeating Ajax 2 - 0 in the final played in Stockholm, Sweden. Paul Pogba opened the scoring when his left footed effort deflected past Onana in goal.

  Though Manchester United has little of the ball, Henrikh Mhkitaryan added a second early in the second half when he flicked a loose ball from a corner kick into the net. This is Jose Mourinho's third trophy for United this season after Mourinho led them to the Community Shield, English Football League trophy and now the Europa League.

  Manchester United 's name being engraved on the Europa League trophy Club captain, Wayne Rooney lifted the title for the Red Devils after he was brought on with less than 10 mins left to play in the match. Jose Mourinho certainly looked happy as he lifted the title.
