BREAKING: Cameroon defeat Ghana to setup AFCON 2017 final showdown with Egypt

Cameroon have booked an AFCON 2017 final place following a 2 - 0 victory over West African rivals Ghana in the competition's semi-final.

The indomitable lions opened the scoring in the 17th when Ghana's goalkeeper Razak came off his line to intercept a freekick delivered from outside the area after a spectacular foul by Wakaso.
black stars' goalie got nowhere near the ball and succeeded only in distracting Boye, who merely headed softly backwards. Ngadeu controlled it at the back post and maneuvered himself into shooting position before firing into the net to put his side ahead.
Desperate Ghana then launched a four-man attack with Asamoah Gyan, Jordan and Ayew as well as Christian Atsu all upfront in search for the equalizer.

Avram Grant's men were stunned with barely the last kick of the game when Cameroon's Aboubakar played in Bassagog to launch a counter attack. There was little the Ghanaian goalkeeper could do as the ball was placed behind him for Cameroon to win 2 - 0.

Cameroon will play Egypt in the final on Sunday, February 5, while Ghana tackle Burkina Faso in the third place match scheduled for Saturday, February 4.
